The Shack Revolution is a family run business founded in 2015 by brothers James and Rich Manning. Creating extraordinary experiences in extraordinary spaces has been the driving force behind all that we do.
What was once a derelict ‘barn’ in Hereford’s City Centre, was developed into a buzzing pizza and cocktails restaurant adored by locals.
Fast forward four years, The Shack Revolution was once again reimagined and became what it is today, an Urban Industrial Weddings and Events Venue located in the beating heart of Herefordshire.

We love what we do. Period. That’s what makes us such a tight knit team of like minded thinkers, with one clear mission; to give our couples the absolute best experience. We like to keep things informal, and straight forward but behind the fun loving exterior we’re serious about our jobs.

Leanne is the Instagram obsessed, resident data nerd who absolutely loves making connections with creative suppliers and industry folk. She truly believes in the concept of The Shack Revolution and our ‘be yourself’ mantra. She can usually be found holding back the tears when flicking through wedding day photos of Shack couples.

Venue Manager
Jacob is the don of operations. He’s in charge of the wedding day co-ordination, bar, staff and nurturer of our much loved plants. He’s been known to enthusiastically hop in to replace a bridesmaid during a ceremony practice run, and is always on hand if you’re in a panic.

Herefordshire is one of the most beautiful rural counties you’ll visit in the UK (we’re biased) which is often referred to as the Golden Valley.
